Touch el Arab

Swissdance 1992-99 > Q-Z

Touch El Arab sind aus Basel und sie hatten ihren ersten ende 1987 mit "Muhammar" in der Schweiz. Sie waren auch in Frankreich und Italien mit dem Song erfolgreich. Die Mitglieder waren Philippe Alioth, Christoph Müller und Stefan Hopmann. Christoph Müller ist nun Mitglied von Gotan Project. Die Vocals übernahmen Kathrin Nemeth und Bea Wiggli. In den Jahren 1994/95 veröffendlichten "Touch el Arab" "Starship race" und "Cosmic Muhammar". Im Jahre 1999 brachten Phillip Alioth und Alexander Friedrich neue Remixe vom "Muhammar" raus. Der Gesang der neuen Version übernahm Dania Luiz.
