Das Projekt "Activate" wurde Ende 1993 von 4 Deutschen Produzenten und Songschreiber, die sich das A-Team nannten gegründet.Thomas Detert, Mike Griesenheimer, Andreas Hoetter und Alexander Stiepler sie sind auch die Produzenten von dem Techno Projekt 666. Die Debut-Single von 666-Alarma ist ein Remake von einem Activate Song mit dem gleichen Namen. Die Gruppe ist ein Trio:2 Rapper(Mike und Thomas selber) und die weibliche Stimme von Helen Smith.Die erste Single "Save me" kahm 1994 auf den Markt.Dann folgten 1995 die Hitsingles "Let the rhythm take control", "I say what i want", "Beat of the drum" and "Tell me".Es folgte das erst Album "Visions".1997 wurde "Fall in love with you" veröffendlicht.An Stelle von Helen Smith sang die Sängerin Kirstin. Die Single floppte daher konzentrierte man sich dann auf das Projekt "666". 2012 wurde das Album "Lost&Found" als MP3 Version veröffendlicht. 2016 sind "Activate" wieder zurück mit einem Hammer Eurodance Stück "Spotlight".
